The accommodation is sustainable, water is extremely precious and harvested from the roof when it rains. As well as drought resistant plants, we have planted 50 fruit/nut trees, and grow some vegetables, what we don't grow we purchase from our local fresh food market, in this way we are able to support the local farmers in our regions. We make every effort to recycle and use recycled products where ever possible. (We encourage guests to do the same, in the dedicated bins provided). Our chickens supply us with free range eggs, and rule the roost. We have a great little dog called Sooty. We also have a few wild rabbits and birds....
